These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Apex (the "Service"), including apexedu.co and any related pages, accessed at the domain this page is hosted on. Apex is operated by an individual trading as Apex ("Apex", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the Service, including any paid subscription. You're responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password secure, and for anything that happens under your account.
Apex gives students access to A-Level Maths, Physics and Further Maths lesson notes, practice questions, past papers, an exam simulator, AI-assisted marking ("Smart Mark"), and TMUA/admissions preparation material. Some content is free; some requires a Standard or Premium subscription. We may add, change or remove content and features over time.
Paid plans (Standard and Premium) are billed monthly and processed through our payment provider, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — cancelling stops future billing but doesn't refund the current billing period, and you'll keep access until that period ends. All payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.
We may change subscription pricing going forward; if we do, we'll give you notice before it applies to your next renewal.
To keep Apex fair and working for everyone, you agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
All lesson content, questions, explanations, site design and the Apex name and mark are owned by Apex (or licensed to us) and protected by copyright. Subscribing gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use this content for your own study — it doesn't transfer any ownership to you. Past exam papers and official mark schemes referenced on Apex remain the property of their respective exam boards and are provided for study and practice purposes.
Smart Mark uses AI to give indicative, method-based marking on your written answers. It's a study aid to help you see where marks were likely lost — it is not an official exam board mark, and Apex doesn't guarantee its accuracy or that it matches how an examiner would grade the same answer. Always treat official mark schemes and your teacher's feedback as authoritative.
Apex is a study resource. We don't guarantee any particular grade, exam outcome, or university offer as a result of using the Service. Your results depend on many factors outside our control.
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apex is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as Apex's features change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use Apex after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
